Thread: Pikachu Poems

I would like to direct all of your attention to this marvelous gem of a site, a collection of poems inspired by the Lightening Type Pokemon Pikachu. A vast range of styles is present, ranging from modern verse libre to haiku, and the poets themselves show us a breathtaking spectre of emotion born out of a mutual affection for the electric rodent.

The charm and power of the digital mouse has truly made an impact on our writers, who are burning with love and passion, rooted in a strong sense of loyalty, some even mad with the adventurous enthusiasm of a fresh pokemon trainer, like this one by Sabri:

For Pikachu we all give a cheer!

I'm an Abra/Kadabra/Allakazam man myself.

Threads of reality brook no understanding,
Tangled clockwork ravelings so demanding,
Visage bent and knotted; flesh notwithstanding,
To the crystalline Mind I command, unhand me.

One spoon warped, Two spoons twisted,
My sagely consort, and my mind's better vision,
Before these hyperboles and parabolas, I am just a man,
At least until you came along, my precious Allakazam. <3

Here's a poem I wrote inspired by the yellow fever that is my burden.

Pikachu my Nigger

Pikachu to the show, when
I was the puppeteer for young Oliver,
what a strung-up kid,
and what did I do?
All I can say was uhuh to my baby Pi
to my weak and limber pikachu.
When a group of stuffed friends,
you, the penguin, the shark all came on
it was
A BEDTIME THEATRE SPECTACULAR.
The star, Pikachu,
God what if something happened to you.

Pika to the spiritual, the yellow,
shockstorm,
thunderwave,
we saw all the houses burn down
and we didn't do nothing,
we rode trains,
stuffed our faces with candy
we made you sweaters out of socks and
by the gods you were a little fat
and a sick obsession
all those houses

Oliver grew up but I didn't, I didn't
things became more difficult,
first stop is a hometown,
the fire starts again,
