I get frustrated when I bring this movie up, everyone remembers it but they don't remember the scene where the Raiden clone blows up. IT'S THE BEST SCENE.

How can somebody not remember the wind dude blowing himself up? It's one of the best scenes!

Jack Burton is probably the most unconventional action hero ever, and that's what I love about the character and the movie itself. He spends half of a climatic battle stuck under a suit of armor. A great deal of his kills are by accident or fluke.

It's all in the reflexes. :johnny:

(Kim Catrall was really hot too)

never seen big trouble in little china, not even fussed about it either

watched Wrath of the Titans on IMAX 3D two nights ago, it was 'epic' and the visuals were cool and I would take out Rosamund Pike, romance her, share intimate things with her, ask her to marry me, have an amazing honeymoon that would solidify our relationship, make love under the sun in a secluded beach, etc etc, Kronos was epic, but the movie itself was pretty forgettable.

Downloaded Crackle off of Live to see what the hub-bub was.

Watched some weird anime called "Mouse" about a Cat burglar who works as the only male teacher at an all-girl school and owns(?) 3 of the teachers as, like, wenches or something? 2 of them have very large breasts the third has a large ass. . .They're totally into him but he couldn't care less about their advances for some reason?

    Those silly Japanese.

I've watched both. Current with the US, kinda lost interest in the UK version at Season 3. I think the US version handles the story better at times.

Like Sally's/Annie's death story for example:
US: Sally loses her wedding ring down the drain and in a fit of rage is accidentally pushed down the stairs. Her Husband didn't intend for it to happen, but isn't exactly losing sleep over it. A "crime of passion" he didn't mean for it to happen, but he isn't exactly sorry. Also that explains the plumbing issue that sparks everyone 'remembering' the event to progress the story.

UK: Annie won't wear a thong and "be a whore" so he intentionally kills her. And like a sociopath he's really proud about the situation and wears it like a badge of honor. Also with the plumbing he KNEW it was the thong (Which begs the question: Why did he even flush the thong down the toilet in the first place? It's not like a "murder weapon" or anything. At that point the story seems forcefully advanced and unnatural.

Of course, in defense of the UK version, it's easier to take someone else's idea and improve upon it.

And the production values. The wolf transformations in particular. UK reuses footage and uses a muppet-like costume. US version uses clean CG and didn't reuse footage of transformations. The ultimate product also appears more menacing (And canine-like) and less hilarious in the US version.

been kinda rewatching Breakin Bad in anticipation of the final season.

Can I just say that the final seconds of "Half Measure" is probably the most badass way to end an episode in the history of television.
